Rationale
In the twelve
years since my graduation I've worked in many areas
of creative practice.
This web site is a synthesis of my practice; not a retrospective
collection of past glories, but rather an explanation of
the underpinning processes, forms and meanings that constitute
my work today.
I have not made a distinction between fine-art
and commercial work. Clearly there are different objectives in
personal work and work for a client, however one discipline is
not more important than another. Hence, this web site's categories
are not in any 'creative' heirarchy.
YOU the reader - and visitor to my site - could
be either a fellow practitioner, a critic, an academic, a commercial
buyer, a private client...
Rather than build a web site for each of you,
I choose to present myself and my work once; clearly and concisely.
The measure of success for this web site is
counted in the enquires I receive, via email or telephone.
