Reaction Graphics is the trading name of Mark Wood. I have continually run a successful design practice since graduating from Leeds Polytechinc in 1992.

Reaction Graphics is not just a solo enterprise, I have access to a network of creative designers and information technology specialists, so I can put together the team you need for whatever you require.

Creative thinking: A diverse portfolio of work that demonstrates dynamic visual thinking.

Providing creative solutions to art commissions, design briefs and photographic assignments.

Eleven years of professional creative practice built on a reputation for delivering innovative ideas to agreed budgets and schedules.

Interpretation skills:The ability to contextualise creative practice through theoretical knowledge and critical awareness.

Awareness of critical theories related to art and design, as well as an understanding of the historical contexts for current creative practice.

Desire to advance knowledge and creativity in art and design practice. A desire to extend the scope of creative practice; offering new insights to arts methodology.

Organisational skills in business management, educational administration and course development. Eight years of lecturing experience, with four of those at Loughborough University.

Written degree modules as well as designing entire courses in subjects such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, QuarkXpress, Dreamweaver and Commercial Design Skills Training.

Organisational skills play a key part in structuring administrative tasks for professional practice.

Ongoing dialogue with clients and effective record keeping form the foundation of project management skills.

Communication skills; in business communication, course writing and delivery. Written and verbal communication are integral parts of my professional practice. There can be no unintentional ambiguity in my business correspondence, or in writing course documentation. When lecturing or demonstrating an idea or process I have to be clear and concise with my delivery.
